We can travel with sailors who used these bright sparks to navigate by, and share the stories of the myth makers who saw figures and creatures in them, the seven sisters, and we can understand the reasons the leaves turn red in the Autumn.

Here we have a large multi-stage deep carving and etching on crystal of the original hand-engraved Ursa Major and Ursa Minor (Mama Bear and Baby Bear, or –the Big and Little Dipper, as imagined by a 19th-Century astronomer in an antique book engraving. We have taken that exquisite work of art, translated it layer by layer and transformed it into a carved, dimensional piece of crystal Wall Art, with all the beautifully lettered map markings, latitude and longitude lines, and surrounding stars. It’s a wonderful focal art piece for star lovers and a conversation piece in any home or business setting. Lit with a spotlight, it will have an incandescent glow, evoking the magic of a clear night sky.
